The Deacons CornerWell Independence day has come and past. I hope your celebration was a great one. We have a great country. The enemy is working to destroy it and the Christian principals it was founded on. Pray for our nation, community, our church and one another.
Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Is the enemy at work in our church? We all are unique and have different quality’s or gifts. Never before in our church have I experienced the attitudes of today. I pray that everyone seek the Lord earnestly and whole-heartily. Are you angry with someone? Are you harboring a heart that is bitter? I urge everyone to pray as never before. We all need to be of one accord.
Philippians 2:1-4 (NKJV)2 Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
